Liquid sulphur transport

Zwaans van den Heuvel Tankvaart BV: ever-increasing expertise The first double hull liquid sulphur transport tanker was commissioned and built in 1967. This was followed by another six dedicated sulphur transport vessels. Advances in technical insight have led to the replacement of the two oldest tankers, resulting in the current fleet of five modern inland barges, constructed and equipped in accordance with the most advanced requirements for the transport of liquid sulphur, at a temperature of approximately 145°C.

Transport operations are carried out seven days a week for oil companies and traders in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany on the basis of long-term contracts which guarantee continuity and transport security for our customers.
